This email is to let you know about the Conga III, Ride for Breast Cancer, an international motorcycle ride put on by the WWR, Women Who Ride, an online forum for lady riders.
It started as a ride from Florida to Vancouver Island and riders joined for as long as they could along the way or the Conga line. Last year they raise $12,000.00.
This year we are riding from where we are to Cheyenne, WY to join our Canadian sisters.
The Dallas group is riding out from Stroker’s Ice House www.strokersdallas.com (near Bachman Lake) on July 4th at 11:30a.
You are invited to join us in the send off and celebrate those who ride for a cure. This year is going to be the best!
Cindy- would “Women Who Ride” be available for a shoot next Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.? We could meet with you at Bachman Lake or Stoker’s Ice House to do a story about your efforts this coming 4th of July weekend. We would need as many riders there as possible.
-Cynthia Izaguirre
Let me check with my fellow riders. Although we have hundreds of riders in the U.S. and Canada, from North TX, we have several confirmed riders on this year’s Conga riding to the meet-up in Cheyenne. We would of course, would love to do that. I’ll also check with Rick Fairless, the owner of Stroker’s Dallas.
Thank you, Cynthia. We are hoping to kick dirt in the face of breast cancer and celebrate life along the way.
Conga riders,
I invited Cynthia Izaguirre from WFAA to see us off on July 4th. She in turn invited us to a shoot to talk about the Conga III Ride for Breast Cancer. Conga, Conga, CONGA!
