Day 11 Mount Evans

We said our good byes and and headed to Denver Colorado with our friend Harris. He was going to show us some sites and roads and that he did.We went to a Casino, now I can't remember the name any more.

Here we are funning it up in one of the gift shops.

On top of the world!
Here is Doc doing one of her little rants about us DOING IT!!
Still doing the Conga down to the 3 of us. Wilbur stayed home for a couple reasons. After his little Ditch Digger Denver Episode, he would have been freeking!!
I will never forget Mount Evans...I DID IT!! Right to the top and believe me with out the skills of RLAP I wouldn't have made it. It was over 14,000 feet high. As Donna explained it,it was a goat trail, and she felt like a Billy goat. We were in first gear and the friction zone the whole dang way. I remember Fancypants riding ahead of me seeing just her, way up in the sky like she was going to ride over a cliff. It was amazing, because before she said she had a hard time turning her neck to look where she wanted to go. Well, I tell you, she used all of her skills to the max going up this mountain, I was worried about  her and was wondering what she was thinking. Holy crap, I was stressed so I knew she had to be. It was one of those instances that you definitely could not look at the scenery for more than a half a second. If someone said to me, lets do it again, I would NOT!! There was only one problem we had to go back down and we were not looking forward to it... We did survive.
Here we are celebrating that we were still alive!!
